Horrid Haikus

My friend, Neville Goslinger, wanted to try his hands at the haiku.
He wrote a few and asked my to put them on my blog.
Here are four that he wrote.
He calls them Horrid Haikus
 (恐ろしいハイキス)

Bats, spiders, leeches, ticks
Some monsters with cruel jaws
It’s my home sweet home

Thirteen explorers
Their shrunken heads on a string
Sway in the soft breeze

A leap from high up
Twisting, turning somersaults
Making sidewalk art

Zombies all around
Eating the people they find
Without side dishes
